In the beginning God said “Let there be light” and...what’s that? You want the short and skinny version? Alright, alright here it is. Most people you see in your every day livin are divided into three kinds of folks. Players, Haters, and Voyeurs. Some folks are a combo of one or more, but most come in one of these three yummy flavors. Now tellin you what a Player IS, starts by tellin you what a Player IS NOT. The best way to do this is by talkin about the other folks. Namely...

VOYUERS

Voyeurs, as you can probably guess, like to watch. They don’t like takin chances or gettin there hands dirty. Voyeurs would rather watch from across the street and talk about it tomorrow over the back fence. They don’t make news, they watch news. Voyeurs aren’t tryin to change the world, they just think the world looks better from a safe distance. They may actually go out every once in a while, but only to “people watch” from close up. Voyeurs don’t talk about places, ideas and events...they talk about...Players and Haters. If you find that “Jerry Springer” and “Cops” are your favorite pastimes...then you’re probably a Voyeur. A Voyeur’s motto? Life is a Big Screen TV, with really great resolution.” Now let’s move on to the next group of folks...the Haters.

HATERS

Haters...no surprise here...hate. They hate life, they hate you, they hate hating and especially they hate Players. Haters don’t see themselves as Haters, they're just determined to point out everything about YOU that they hate and why they hate you for it. Haters don’t grow, haters don’t mature, haters don’t watch, they’re too busy hatin. They don’t really enjoy watchin, like Voyeurs do...they’re too busy hatin to really enjoy the show. The “Jerry Springer” show might be their favorite pastime too, but only so they can confirm how *$#& up the world really is. Haters especially hate Players...Why? Because Players spend all their time playin, and not enough time hatin. See how that works? Silly! Now that brings us back to our original question. What IS a Player???

PLAYERS

Players...are the ones that play. If life is a game, players are on the board and rollin the dice. They live life as game that might end tomorrow. Players aren’t afraid to take chances, they play to win, but aren’t afraid to lose. They live life to the fullest, and don’t mind sometimes actin a fool. Players DONT hate and they would rather PLAY than watch. Players come in all colors, shapes and sizes. Male or female, straight or crooked, young or old. The more Players...the bigger the game. Players are tolerant, inclusive always looking to broaden the game...by gettin some more players. Players appreciate the life God has given them, but don’t take themselves or YOU too seriously. Players just wanna have fun, and they don’t need to Hate or Watch YOU to do it. They’re confident, self-sufficient, humorous, generous, and in search of a good time. And they don’t mind takin you a long for the ride. You wanna play??? Then find a Player or two and you’ve got your self a game.
